Honest Advice for Kerala Families
- Beware of agents taking commissions from universities — when an agent pushes you toward a specific university, ask yourself why. Commission-based agents recommend what pays them, not what suits you.
- UK post-study work is reducing to 18 months from 2027 — factor this into your planning if starting in 2026.
- Germany has free public universities — but you need B2 German and a blocked account of €11,208. It is genuinely the most affordable option for the right student.
- Australia student visa to PR is a long journey — student time does not count toward PR. Plan for 8-10 years minimum.
- IELTS preparation needs time — 6-8 weeks is not enough for most students. Budget 3-4 months of serious preparation.
- The 28-day bank rule is the most common visa rejection reason — the money must sit continuously in the account. Do not move it.
